For the past few years the evolution of the social networks, and other smartphones and tablets had been releasing there version of social games and mobile games. Video games had been in sight for a long time now since they first appeared in the 70's,from the block bricks game era to PAC man games. Now todays video games offer 3-Dimensional graphics with realistic images that simulate the realism of our environment gives the gamers an interactive experience of simulation through the virtual world which is exciting.

By the end of 2011 there were surveys conducted by several consumer market research that specialize in the video game industry, and there results were astonishing as video game spending were estimated near 17 billion dollar U.S. A market research company called Newzoo, had surveyed consumer spending on video games and estimated a whopping 145 million Americans played video game either on there PC, or mobile device and other game console. Around 65 million americans today and increasing are actually spending money on video games and its no longer a childs play. Today at least 39 percent of North America are playing video games with the average age of 37 years old and 32 percent are younger than 18 years old. As dynamically kids are always at the top when it comes to playing video games wherever and whenever. The younger generation would simply play at least 1 hours to 2 hours a day playing video games.
As video game console are developing as well the top three major companies in the gaming console like Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo also other games can be played on mobile device like an Iphone or android phone are also the new key player in the huge Gaming market today. However Nintendo's wii are the still the best seller among the current generation as even older people have them and are very interactive from as young as an 8 years old to as old as a 60 year old. Nintendo was the first one to come out with a motion controlled device that instantly became a popular trend that other companies like Sony and Microsoft followed as well. Ever since that happened Nintendo has lost its edge of popularity. The most popular games played today are action games like Assassins creed and shooter games of Tom Clancy.
